We’ve had another tremendous year upsetting the “Catus Quo” and we’d like to share some of our favorite highlights with our loyal Happy Cat Hotel and Spa fans. We’ve achieved some new milestones, spread our pawprint across the country, and had a lot of feline fun along the way. Happy Cat Hotel Expands into Virginia

This year, we celebrated the very first franchisee owners of the Happy Cat Hotel and Spa. Our newest non-corporate owned partners are Leanne McRoberts and Jackie Warbis, who opened their new Happy Cat location in Alexandria, Virginia on Nov. 14. The Happy Cat Hotel of Alexandria is a new 20-room, feline exclusive luxury hotel and grooming center, operating out of the Duke Street Center in at 2391 South Dove St. Congratulations to what we hope is the first of many other Happy Cat franchisee owners!

Trade Show Mania

In 2021, Happy Cat Hotel managed to attend two of the hottest pet industry trade shows. We were fortunate enough to be a part of CatCon 2021 as a virtual booth exhibitor, and also made the rounds at the SuperZoo Show in Las Vegas, back in August. While there, we had the opportunity to mingle with over 1,200 other exhibitors, where we witnessed over 800+ new product launches. When we got back, we even authored our own “Best of…” list.

Podcast, Take Two!

In 2021, we re-launched our very own podcast. With titles such as “Shop ‘Till You Drop” and “Home Sweet Virginia,” we had a lively discussion of cat-centric topics. You can listen in on Spotify for new episodes in 2022…

Happy Cat Hotel in the “Mews”!

We were fortunate enough to be featured in the pages of Pet Age and PETS+ Magazine this year, as both outlets picked up the press release about our new location in Alexandria, Va. Here’s a quick recap in case you missed it the first time around:

The Happy Cat Hotel got a super nice mention on Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500 website, in a story titled, “Think You Don’t Have What It Takes to Run a Niche Franchise Brand? Think Again.” CEO and founder Chris Raimo was quoted generously, speaking about what makes their brand so unique and special. We also got a cover story mention on FranchiseConnect Magazine, where the Happy Cat Hotel appeared in a full-page ad on page three, and a feature story on page 47! Yes, we were even listed as a top-100 pet franchise opportunity!

Coming up…

As we head into 2022, we have another item in the works. We can’t exactly give it away just yet, but let’s just say you should probably bookmark the Catster Magazine website for the time being.

We hope enjoyed re-living some of the Happy Cat Hotel’s Greatest Hits in 2021. All in all, we’d have to say that another purrrr-fect year is in the books! We’d like to thank our loyal fans and readers everywhere for doing their part in helping us disrupt the Catus Quo. We look forward to the promise of another prosperous and successful year in 2022 and invite all of you to be a part of it with us!
