As we approach the end of 2023, it’s incredible how swiftly the time has flown! From the excitement of new hotels to starting a podcast, Happy Cat Hotel franchising has had an incredible year worth celebrating.

New Owners and One Key Expansion!
2023 marked a year of growth as the Happy Cat Hotel & Spa family welcomed passionate new members. The journey began with our existing franchise owners – Leanne McRoberts and Jackie Warbis- in Alexandria, Virginia, expanding their territory to unveil two NEW locations. The growth continued with Christina Marrazza in Westchester, New York, Susan Hamlin in Johns Creek, Georgia, and a hearty welcome to Bill & Sabrena Henson, who launched in Austin, Texas!

We Started a “Pawd-Cast!”
Our Chief Happiness Officer, CEO Chris Raimo, joined forces with seasoned business coach Jerry Wistrom to launch the insightful “So You Wanna Own a Business?” podcast. Offering entrepreneurial wisdom across two seasons, covering everything from securing funds to overcoming the fears of launching a business. It’s an essential listen for budding entrepreneurs and gives detail into the Happy Cat Hotel franchisee process! You can find this podcast on Spotify – and join the journey!
We Developed Some Quality Blog Content
In 2023, our monthly blogs became a knowledge hub for aspiring entrepreneurs with a love for cats. This past year, we shared our knowledge and insight on topics that included how we help franchisees build out their locations, a behind-the-scenes look at how we prep for grand openings, how to solve the problem of corporate burnout, questions you should ask before becoming your own boss, and a rundown of the simple process we have in place to help new Happy Cat Hotel owners get the ball rolling.
